Design

We offer a complete design service and will come to the venue to see the shape of the room and the lighting.  Modern designs may not suit a heritage style room, so we take the time to do the background research to design displays & table arrangements that will set the right tone.    

The placement of furniture on the day such as podiums and tables, will be discussed, so that the height and width of the displays will look balanced with the room set up.  Draft design sketches can be sent, prior to the event, so that we ensure you are completely happy with how things are intended to be set up.

Conventions, expos and training seminars will require different styles and sizes of arrangements to anniversary, weddings and other personal celebrations. 

Conventions, Expos and Seminars

The type of convention/ expo / seminar will also be taken account of – flowers can be created into specialists shapes to reflect the theme of the event, such as cars, and the types of flowers used will be selected to be appropriate in style to the type of event.  For instance, modern arrangements using lotus seed pods, anthuriums etc may not suit an expo about quilts and craft, this may be more suited to softer flowers such as roses and freesias.

Functions for Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays etc

For personal functions, we take the time to listen to your ideas, so that any colours or flowers with special meanings to you are included.  For instance, in the case of an anniversary, you may like to include some of the same varieties that you had in your wedding bouquet. 

The event may have a special theme, for instance golden colours for 50th anniversary, so table arrangements and floral décor will be designed using appropriate containers and colourings to suit.   

 A cocktail type function will require different style and size arrangements to a sit down event, where it is important people can see each other across the table arrangement!
