We are delighted to announce we have recently purchased "Flowers of Southport", at Shop 5, 123 Nerang St, Southport, (opposite to the GC Hospital) here on the Gold Coast, which allows us to extend our range of designs and sizes of events, so that we have facilities and staff trained by ourselves to create beautiful flowers from the small intimate weddings to large weddings and corporate events with over 200 guests and therefore requiring larger numbers of floral decorations.  See us on Facebook!

The name "The Lilac Tree' came about from a visit to Toowoomba when I first came to this amazingly beautiful country, when the Jacaranda trees were in full bloom lining the streets with their beautiful lilac flowers, with a carpet of flowers surrounding them that had fallen from the trees.  When deciding on a name for my business, the memories of that day stood out for me, but the name The Jacaranda Tree is obviously too reminiscent of the book of that name.  I have always loved mauves, so in recalling those lovely jacaranda trees, I named my business "The Lilac Tree".

Fully trained in all aspects of floristry, from innovative to traditional; natural stem bridal bouquets through to fully wired bridal bouquets, table arrangements to single gift wrapped flowers!  Designs can be created to match whatever you require - tell us your budget, your ideas and we will work from there.

The Senior Florist has over 35 years experience in art & has exhibited her work in many local exhibitions successfully, receiving both individual sales and commissions. Bringing that strong creative flair and attention to detail to her floral designs, she has also won prizes in the bridal flowers section of the 2008 & 2007 Gold Coast Shows.

From that strong creative background, you can be assured that the flowers will be designed into arrangements to suit your special occasion, be it a wedding or corporate event!   

Overseas and interstate enquiries welcome for Gold Coast & Brisbane weddings and Corporate Events - concept ideas can be emailed so that they meet your approval before proceeding.

Delivery areas cover Brisbane and the Gold Coast through to Byron Bay, including out west through to Canungra and Beaudesert (charges apply).

We also donate presents at Christmas and chocolate eggs at Easter to "The Gold Coast Project for Homeless Youth Inc",  a charity for homeless children on the Gold Coast.
